We are looking for a customer-oriented Technical Support Engineer, based in Malaysia, to support machine vision projects across Southeast Asia. This role combines pre-sales technical consulting, application testing, customer support, and on-site troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should enjoy working closely with industrial customers and be comfortable balancing office-based technical work with frequent customer visits and regional business travel across Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines). Approximately: 70% office / lab work and 30% customer visits & travel

你要做什么

• Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support during the full sales cycle across Southeast Asian markets
• Design and recommend machine vision solutions including cameras, lighting, optics, software, and related components
• Conduct feasibility studies, lab testing, and proof-of-concept validation
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and support at exhibitions or industry events across the region
• Support local distributors and system integrators in Southeast Asia on technical enablement and application troubleshooting
• Provide post-sales troubleshooting and technical support via email, phone, CRM, and remote tools
• Visit customer sites for installation support, debugging, and issue resolution
• Build long-term technical relationships with industrial customers and system integrators
• Support customers across Germany and occasionally other European regions

我们希望你

• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in: Electrical Engineering \ Electronics \ Automation \ Mechatronics \ or related technical disciplines
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in: Machine vision \ Industrial automation \ Technical support \ Field service engineering
• Hands-on experience with: Industrial cameras \ Vision lighting \ Optical systems / lenses \ Vision software
• Based in Malaysia with valid working rights; willing to travel frequently within Southeast Asia
• Professional working proficiency in English; Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia is a plus
